For the last four years we have built an wonderful Christmas Grotto for Redruth Town. It was built because at the time Redruth had no Christmas lights and no seasonal celebrations unlike other local towns. I think this was a reflection of how depressed and disingaged the town had become at this time of year. Things are changing...
When I was young and grew up in the area one of my Christmas treats was to visit West End Stores, a fabulous old department store in Redruth. I have fantastic memories of going down steps and along a corridors in their Christmas Grotto before finding Father Chrismas; it was fantastic.I now have a child of my own and became fascinated again by all the questions I wanted to ask the man himself and so....
Redruth now has a fabulous Christmas Grotto. Free for all the Family
